Placement Tests
Placement Tests are administered before each semester, in September and October. They can also be taken, at the Director’s discretion, after the semester has started. The test consists of four parts: a multiple-choice test, two combined grammar and sentence-transformation tests and a short composition, and lasts 90 minutes altogether.
On registration a small non-refundable fee is paid in the office.
A photographic proof of identity is required before the test.
The detailed results are confidential and cannot be revealed to the candidate, who will be notified of the level of language competence only.
Candidates having a Cambridge FCE or CAE certificate will automatically be placed on preCAE or preCPE level respectively.
A level can be changed at the Director’s discretion only.
